1. Create your Google Account if You don’t already have one.
If You have Gmail or another account with Google services, then You technically already have a Google account. You can skip to step 2. If not, You need to create a Google Account (which is quickly and easy, just Google “Create Google Account”).
If You have a Google AdWords account and You want to use the same login for Analytics, simply login to Your AdWords account and click on the Analytics tab at the top.
2. Visit the Google Analytics site, click the Sign Up button now, and follow the easy sign up process
Sign it involves 4 simple steps. 3 the first step involves filling Your site and contact information, and sign the User Agreement. The last step involves the tracking code for Google Analytics to Your website.
3. Copy paste the code that You are given, just above the sign of the closure body.
The tracking code is how Google Analytics to track user behavior on Your site. This is why it is important to have the code on each page (right before the closing body tag). Ideally You will have a template or main page where You can add code in one place.
If Your page is really independent of each other, You should make sure You add the code to each page.
You will be given the option to use either the new tracking code, or Legacy Code tracking. Many new features Google Analytic will only be supported with the new tracking code that there is little or no reason to use the tracking code Legacy at this time.
After you redirect the Analytics tracking code to your website mu, upload your changes, and click “Check Status” in the Settings window Analytics. Google will verify that the code analysis tracking running in the website You enter.
After Google has to verify that the code is running, it is expected to view Google Analytics Within one hour.
